Performing stand-up since 1995, Boyle originally rose to popularity as a panelist on the comedy programme Mock the Week, where he appeared regularly from the program’s debut in June 2005 until his departure in September 2009. Boyle wrote and featured in the Channel 4 sketch programme Frankie Boyle’s Tramadol Nights and the BBC Two talk show Frankie Boyle’s New World Order after leaving Mock the Week.
